A Gemini Chooses Things in Pairs.
Sally Russick of The Studio Sublime sends us a weekly prompt, and we post pictures to address that prompt. This week's prompt dealt with things that come in twos.
Of all the photos I have chosen for this project, I have rarely focused on the jewelry that I make. So here are a few favorites from the vaults!

Dyed howlite and a couple of Czech beads.
Simple but effective |
|
I love finding new ways to use bead caps. |
|
Lapis Lazuli and copper. Even if the wire work leaves something to be desired, a great combination. |
|
One of my most recent sales. I almost kept them.... |
A desire for fabulous earrings got me started in jewelry making. As far as I am concerned, they are some of the finest pairs there are!
Take a look at some more pairs!
Gorgeous earrings! I would have hung on to the last pair :)
ReplyDeleteNot sure which pair is my favorite.. actually I expected to see more pairs of earrings showing up this week!
ReplyDeleteI would have been hard pressed not to keep those last pair of earrings.
ReplyDeleteThe copper and lapis is a stunning combo
ReplyDeletePretty, pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove these, Beti!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous earrings! I love the last pair. Where did you get the earring stand? I have a difficult time photographing my earrings and this looks like the perfect solution.
ReplyDeleteGot the earring stand here http://www.etsy.com/shop/ChristinesArts
DeleteI had to have one the moment I saw it.

ReplyDeletelovely collection!
ReplyDeleteAs always, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSome real beauties you have there, my favorite being the lapis and copper pair.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful earrings. I would have kept the last pair. I more aqua/turquoise jewelry than any other color.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteThey're all beautiful! It's hard to let go of them sometimes isn't it?!
ReplyDeleteI've struggled with letting go to sell items too sometimes... but in reality, nearly everything goes up for sale. Only recently have I kept a few things back for myself. I realized everything I was wearing was quite old and not very representative of what I was selling! Seemed like a good excuse for some new jewelry to me! ha! ;-) These are delightful, Beti! I love the background you photographed them against too!
