Hands are a big deal around here.
My Grandmother's hands earned her living; cooking and sewing for years, a movie made about her culinary prowess, (Jaraslwa, 1975, Dee Dee Halleck) and many compliments. The Woman with the "Golden Hands."
My mom's hands were not as famous, but she did many wonderful things, including cooking, drawing, needlework, bead work and knitting.
In honor of my mother's birthday on Monday (she would have been 95 this year,) and Mother's Day next week, I present my hands, carrying out the tradition we have had in our family of a daughter presenting flowers to her mother.
Let's see what the other members of Focus on Life have come up with for the monthly theme of "In, At, About", and this week's prompt "In your (their) hands."
Beautiful flowers and such a nice tribute to your grandmother and mother.
