Welcome to my Blog!
This year, when I started the second round of "Focus on Life," Sally Russick's photography challenge, I started seeing a lot of these:
I visited the sponsoring blog, Two Bags Full, and found out that anyone with a blog could join in, and find new friends in the blogging community (and the internet in general.)
Here's how blogger Vicki Boster described it on her blog: My "GROW YOUR BLOG" event is designed to bring more readers and FOLLOWERS to your blogs. The premise is simple-- just visit as many blogs as you wish and sign up to follow those that interest you. In turn, all the other folks will be doing the same thing~ we will all be growing our blogs!
I'm Beti,
and I make jewelry, take photographs, draw, and enjoy my family and pets in the Lower Hudson Valley of New York State.
If you like what you see, please take a moment to click the widget on the right, and sign up to follow my blog.
And if you leave a comment below, with your email address, you will be entered to win this pair of cute earrings that I made for the holidays....but with the soft muted colors, they should be spectacular for springtime, too!
To meet and greet more bloggers, visit Vicki's blog, Two Bags Full, and follow the links.
Very pretty earrings! I already follow your blog but would love to win the earrings.
ReplyDeleteHi, Beti!
ReplyDeleteI'm Terry. I am one of Vicki's GYB volunteers. I am a knitter like Vicki, but I have always been interested in making jewelry.
Have fun at the party.

ReplyDeleteYour earrings are so bright and cheerful, Beti... now I am anxious for spring :) Hope you are enjoying GYB!
ReplyDeleteHello. I love your snowy sun. Feels like that where I am right now.
ReplyDeleteHi Beti! I'm here from Vicki's GYB party. I have to say I scooted down a bit to take a peek at some of your other posts. I LOVE the self portrait ones. You look like you were having a great time. :D I love seeing people happy and having fun. I try to keep that child inside alive even though my body reminds me frequently that I'm just not all that young anymore. I enjoyed your introduction here and the wonderful photos you posted in this blog, but the self portraits you took of yourself is what really brought it home for me. lol I look forward to getting to know you and your blog better. Blessings, Bird http://birdsearthyspirit.blogspot.com/ Oh, I do not have pierced ears, so if you draw my name, draw someone else's instead. They are beautifully cheery earrings, someone who can wear them should have them.
ReplyDeletefound/followed you from the gyb party - love jewelry making.
ReplyDeletehope you'll stop and visit me too!
